Talent Acquisition Mentoring

A supportive, confidential thinking partnership for ambitious Talent Acquisition professionals, grounded in 20 years of expertise.

""

Talent Acquisition mentoring helps professionals navigate the complexity that can come with increased responsibility in fast-paced environments.

You might be stepping up, dealing with change, or simply working out what comes next. Sometimes it helps to have someone outside the situation who understands your world to help you think things through.

An approach grounded in experience.

I've spent 20 years in Talent Acquisition across high-growth technology, media and marketing businesses, including a decade in leadership.

I created this mentoring offer to close a gap I've experienced first-hand: the need for Talent Acquisition professionals to have dedicated support as they navigate greater responsibility, complexity and leadership expectations.

I'll draw on my experience when it's useful, offering honest perspective and thoughtful challenge, while giving you the space to think through complex decisions and arrive at solutions that are right for you.

Helping you build the confidence and capability to have greater effectiveness and impact in your role.

How it can help

Talent Acquisition Mentoring supports talent professionals navigating a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Leading a Talent function or team for the first time

Whether that's as a Manager, Lead, or Head of TA. The technical skills are there. The leadership piece is newer and there's a lot to hold at once. Delivering, leading, managing up, and being the person who's supposed to have the answers. All at the same time.

  • Moving into bigger, more strategic territory

Stepping beyond day-to-day delivery into broader influence, stakeholder leadership, or people management. You're good at the work. Navigating the politics and visibility that come with seniority is a different skill set.

  • Navigating scale, change, or complexity

A restructure, a new business, a team rebuild, or a period where the function is under pressure. Sometimes you need someone to think with who isn't inside the situation.

What this isn’t

This isn't training, and it isn't someone telling you what to do.

I'll draw on my experience in talent to offer honest, grounded input when it's useful, but the best outcomes come when you arrive at your own solutions.

I bring curiosity, thoughtful challenge, and the perspective that comes from having been there. The agenda is yours, the thinking is yours, and the decisions are yours.

Topics covered include:

Conversations typically explore:

  • Stakeholder relationships and influence

  • Leading and developing a TA team

  • Strategic decision-making

  • Building credibility at senior level

  • TA strategy design and delivery

  • Managing your energy and long-term career in a fast-paced, demanding environment

meet your mentor

Hi I’m Jenna,

I've seen it time and time again: Talent Acquisition professionals spend their careers helping others make better hiring and career decisions but often have limited space to step back and think about their own growth, challenges and ambitions.

With over 20 years' experience, I understand the realities of modern Talent Acquisition, from influencing stakeholders and navigating organisational complexity to adapting to AI and moving from recruitment delivery into strategic partnership.

Through mentoring, I combine real-world Talent leadership experience with the space and challenge needed to help you grow your impact.
